Bravo TV aired the first episode of MDD this week and the show already has a following. The first show is filled with comedic outburst, suspect guacamole, over the top personalities and of course delightfully charming interiors. This show is tops on the DVR – even if for nothing more than to knock off that stunning office of Mary McDonald with those - I envy- red doors. The show gives us a look into the professional and personal lives of Los Angeles-based designers Martyn Lawrence Bullard, Kathryn Ireland, Jeffrey Alan Marks, Mary McDonald, and Nathan Turner.
There were so many quote moments of the show but here’s the one that stole the show: “People think of my work as rather glamorous. I’m not stuck to glamour, but I think that’s kinda stuck to me.” Then adding, with a laugh: “Ooooh, did I say that?” – Mary McDonald
