This morning I was stalking my favorite blogs and sites and came across this cute DIY Sputnik Chandelier with really easy to follow instructions. I figured I should share when it dawned on me, what is a Sputnik chandelier, why it’s so darn expense and can someone please explain the name — Sputnik, really peopl
e – that’s the best we could do?
So I did a little digging and turns out Sputnik means fellow traveler and according to NASA, the Sputnik was the first human-made object put into space by the former Soviet Union in 1957. I know right, shut the front door!
